Donald Trump secured a historic second victory over Kamala Harris by winning important battleground states like Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. Several Bollywood celebs responded on social media as voting results began to roll in on election night. Among them was actor-politician Kangana Ranaut, who tweeted the ‘greatest meme’ on the internet: an AI-generated image of Donald Trump rallying in desi attire beside Elon Musk.

Kangana Ranaut

Actor Kangana Ranaut took to her X (Formerly Twitter) account and wrote, “Best meme on Twitter today. Congratulations @realDonaldTrump.” The picture showed Donald Trump and Elon Musk conducting a rally like tey do in India in saffron clothes. Meanwhile, she used Instagram Stories to share a photo of Trump following his assassination attempt earlier this year. The caption included the following: “If I were American, I would vote for the one who got shot, dodged it, got up, continued his speech, Total killer.”

Amitabh Bachchan

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan took to his X account to respond to Kamala Harris’ loss to Donald Trump. He wrote, “Haar gaye toh kya?” Jitne ke lakshya ban gaya! Jitte rehte, badhne ka lakhsya kaise banta.”

Veer Das

Vir Das, an Emmy-winning actor and comedian, also took to X to respond to the US presidential election results. “Well, this Emmy monologue is going to be fun:-) The energy in the room is going to be….” he exclaimed.

Vivek Agnihotri

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, director of The Kashmir Files, declared in a series of tweets: “I am right-wing in the Indian context, but I will never, ever support anyone who opposes abortion rights and favors weapons. “Baaki haal chaal thik thak hai.”

Hansal Mehta

Meanwhile, director Hansal Mehta, who worked with Kangana on Simran, appeared to have a different opinion. He shared a tweet from filmmaker Ali Abbasi that read, “Fascist with a capital F.” That’s @realDonaldTrump, whose name was previously properly pronounced as ‘Doland’.” As the results showed a victory for Trump, he tweeted, “Game over for Harris?”

Popular influencer Orry AKA Orhan Awatramani took to his Instagram and shared his excitement about Donald Trump’s victory. He even wore a Donald Trump t-shirt.
