India’s Got Latent Controversy: Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija Appear Before NCW, Submit A Written Apology!

The India’s Got Latent controversy involving Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and Apoorva Mukhija grabbed many eyeballs when the matter was taken up by the Supreme Court. Other institutions, like the National Commission of Women, also took the matter into their own hands and asked the creators to present themselves before them. As per the latest updates on the matter, Ranveer Allhabadia, Apoorva and the producers of India’s Got Latent apologised to NCW on Thursday, March 7, 2025. Read on to know more.

Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija Apologise To NCW

On March 6, 2025, content creators Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija, AKA Rebel Kid, presented themselves before the National Commission Of Women. They were grilled for many hours, as per the reports, after which the two apologised to the NCW. The NCW chief, Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, addressed a press conference on Friday and answered some media questions. He strictly said that the NCW would not tolerate inappropriate language. Furthermore, she also said that four people, including the two content creators and the producers of India’s Got Latent Tushar Poojari, and Saurabh Bothra, appeared before the NCW. They expressed regret over their mistake and also submitted a written apology, as per the reports.

Reportedly, Ranveer Allahbadia was very upset about making such a mistake and assured NCW that he would be responsible with his words and would be more respectful towards women.

Recently, the Supreme Court also permitted Ranveer Allahbadia to air his podcast but strictly asked him to be mindful of the content so that it is eligible for people of every age group.

For the unversed, Ranveer Allhabadia was called out for making a vulgar joke on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. He later posted a video apology on his social media and accepted that his joke was not cool.
