Imtiaz Ali revealed that SRK had praised Diljit Dosanjh as the best actor in the world and that sowed a seed of making him the face of Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali further added that the film would not have been possible if Diljit Dosanjh had declined the role. Imtiaz Ali also hailed Parineeti Chopra’s versatility as an actor and singer. He also revealed that she had instantly agreed to put on 15 kilos weight for her role in the film.
