It is Barfi starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Ileana D’Cruz, and it was directed by Anurag Basu. In a recent interview, Ileana D’Cruz recalled a memory during her shoot of the film when she had almost walked out. Read on.

What Did The Actress Say?

Ileana D’Cruz opened up about a little clash that she had with director Anurag Basu during the shoot. In conversation with NDTV, the actor recalled the day when she entered the set with a very happy mood and also went ahead to greet everyone happily. However, director Anurag Basu was in a bad mood and angry about something, and in response, he angrily reacted to her, according to Ileana. Furthermore, the actor revealed that she confronted Anurag Basu to say that if he was unhappy with her work, she would simply leave the film and would not even sue him. Thereafter, the actor called the producer to convey that she was leaving the film.

It was Vidya Balan’s husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur on the other side of the call who calmed her down and asked her to complete the scenes. However, as per the actor, Anurag Basu came back to her and sort things out. Ileana also revealed that Anurag Basu addressed her as Ilu and she would only allow him to call her by this name. In the end, they laughed it off, and well, the rest is history.
