Nowadays, it’s hard for filmmakers and actors to get away with mediocre work, not because the internet will call them out, but rather because the audiences are getting smarter and smarter.  The 2024 film Nadaaniya is a true testament to that. But it seems that the film’s lead star, Ibrahim Ali Khan, has learn his lesson and has not just asked for another ‘chance’ but also opened up about his speech issues. In a recent interview, the actor has made honest confessions, and we’re here for it!

Ibrahim Ali Khan Asks For One More Chance!

In a conversation with Esquire India, Ibrahim Ali Khan accepted that Nadaaniyan was a “really bad” movie. He went on to share that it’s a “massive low” and he feels bad because people trolled him and said that he won’t be able to make it. He also shared that he hopes that people will love him as much as they trolled him if he does a blockbuster film. Ibrahim Ali Khan also confessed that he may have rushed into his debut film. 

Opening up about his speech issues, Iggy told the publication that he is still working hard on it and went on the highlight that he doesn’t think that his speech issue will come in the way of his stardom. He reflected on his father’s journey and shared that Saif Ali Khan took time to make his mark and similar he too will have to.

Ibrahim Ali Khan’s entry into the film industry was nothing less than glamorous. So it’s natural that many people were looking forward to seeing his acting. However, his debut film with Khushi Kapoor titled Nadaaniyan left the internet disappointed. The Netflix film made headlines but for all the wrong reaons after the internet lashed out at the cast as well as the screenplay and dubbing of the film. 

Ibrahim Ali Khan’s next film Sarzameen starring Kajol showcased him in an all new avatar but it didn’t generate enought buzz. And when it did, it got just as much criticism, if not more. FYI, the actor is currently busy with his next project titled Diler, which is going to be his theatrical debut. Now that he has reflected on his past work and asked for one more chance, it will surely be interesting to watch how the audience reacts to his upcoming film!
