Recently, the Maharani star Huma Qureshi wrote such words of praise for her fiancé Rachit Singh for making a big screen debut in the recently released Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Thamma. She spoke about his journey from giving it all as the acting coach and navigating through the industry to finally making it big on the silver screen. Read on to know more about it.
What Did Huma Qureshi Write?
Huma Qureshi took to her social media handle to pen a sweet note for her fiancé Rachit Singh to who she reportedly got engaged to in September, this year. The actor posted a shot of Rachit’s character in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer horror-comedy Thamma. In the note, she spoke about his journey from Benaras to Bombay. She expressed pride in his hard-work and how he gave 10 years as an acting coach, and learned, unlearned and even taught so many things to the community that he build. Huma Qureshi also hailed her fiance for debuting in the biggest film of 2025. The actor also added that this opportunity was proof of his hard-work and resilience and she wished him more success in the future.
The actor ended the note with “Higher and higher always”, and also tagged Rachit Singh in this Instagram story.

For the unversed, Rachit Singh is seen in the role of a Betaal, and he plays a negative character in the movie. He is quite convincing in his performance too. Thamma is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
