This is possibly going to happen in the film adaptation of the Mirzapur. Director Gurmeet Singh addressed the question about the rumours during a recent interview, and here’s what he said. Director Gurmeet Singh On Hrithik Roshan’s Presence In Mirzapur Film
If the rumours are to be believed, Hrithik Roshan may play the character of Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya in the film adaptation of Mirzapur. During an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, director Gurmeet Singh addressed the question if Hrithik Roshan is going to be taken on board in the film. To this, Gurmeet Singh said that he could not accept or deny any rumours about Mirzapur’s film adaptation including Hrithik Roshan taking up the role of Kaleen Bhaiya. He further added that the decision solely lies on the higher authorities. He added that the official confirmation will come once the producers and studio confirm it. Gurmeet Singh, however, confirmed that the characters of Munna Bhaiya and Sharad Shukla will not be returning in the future instalments of Mirzapur.
The third season of Mirzapur was recently released, however, the series received mixed responses from the audience and critics. In this season, the character of Sharad Shukla dies in the end. The series stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal and Shweta Tripathi in lead roles.
