Kim Young Ok Attends Her First Ever K-pop Concert

It started when Monsta X’s Joohoney befriended Kim Young Ok in 2016 during the variety show Hip Hop Nation. Flash forward years later, Joohoney invited her to his group Monsta X’s 10-year anniversary show.

During the day of the concert, Kim Young Ok was spotted holding a brand new lightsick as she entered the crowded venue. The seats were packed with thousands of young fans who were singing amid the flashing lights of the venue. In a clip, the actress is heard saying, “So many young people.” Kim was in her zone from the first note sung by Monsta X, grinning at the enormous screens, tapping her feet, and waving her light stick.

Despite her age or status as an actress, she appeared to be lost in the moment and enjoyed the concert to the fullest. The actress even met all the Monsta X members backstage. Joohoney even playfully teased her by saying, “You were really jumping a lot at the end!”

Later, fans shared many pictures of Kim Young Ok enjoying herself at the concert and with their boys. This was indeed an incredible moment as it was a genuine and wholesome interaction between two generations, too. People praised Kim Young Ok’s energy, her openness to new experiences, and her joy in the moment.
