Popular actor Shilpa Shetty’s sister, Shamita Shetty, recently shared her experience inside the Bigg Boss OTT house. It was the first season hosted by Karan Johar, and while the actress admitted to getting recognition after that, it also highly impacted her mental health. She revealed that the atmosphere inside the house was very intense, which left her feeling anxious, so much so that she had to resort to professional help for a year. Read to know more about it here.
Shamita Shetty On Bigg Boss
In a candid chat with Pinkvilla, Shamita Shetty revealed, “But when I came out of Bigg Boss, I needed therapy for a year because I couldn’t understand what the hell was going on around me or how to react correctly.” She said that the lines between fiction and reality became blurred for her, ultimately creating confusion in her mind. She remembers coming out very anxious, and that it made her already existing anxiety worse.
She said that the house of the Bigg Boss made her very anxious because she was constantly fighting. The actress explained the constant arguments and fights that used to happen from early in the morning. Despite the difficulties she encountered, Shamita continues to advance in her professional career.
