In now-deleted Instagram stories, Heo Yong Joo posted a series of pictures, and one of them made people raise their eyebrows. The concerning image showed a man, believed to be the athlete’s friend, grabbing a female mannequin by the breast. Heo Yong Joo captioned the picture with the word “Touching” and uploaded it.
Yong Joo’s post suddenly received intense criticism, with baseball fans calling his actions inappropriate. Multiple discussion forums started trending this issue, bringing it to the notice of the general public.
Netizens are calling on Heo Yong Joo to publicly retire and give up his baseball career. Some people are even drawing comparisons to Kim Soo Hyun’s controversial video, where he was seen gawking over a lingerie mannequin. Kim Soo Hyun had then sent this video to Kim Sae Ron, who was a minor at that time.
