Heeseung Fansign Cancelled After ENHYPEN Exit, Fans Demand Answers
The K-pop idol was slated to appear at an offline fan event on March 21.
Heeseung’s exit from ENHYPEN has left him in the lurch regarding planned fansign events. The 24-year-old singer announced his departure from the ‘Bite Me’ group on March 10, 2026. Since then, fans have expressed their disapproval on social media, in fan communities, and even by using protest trucks. In a recent development, ENGENEs who had signed up and paid for the group fansign received an update about Heeseung’s previously postponed solo event. Read on for more information.
Heeseung’s Solo Fansign Event Cancelled, Fans Disappointed By The News Take To Social Media
ENHYPEN’s recent fansign event took place on March 11, a day after Heeseung’s solo announcement. Then, it was announced that the singer’s part of the fansign event would be postponed to another day. On March 17, 2026, Yizhiyu said that the former member would not be participating in the planned fan session on March 21.
Coming on the heels of his separation from the ‘Polaroid Love’ group, the decision could be because he is preparing solo events or content of his own. Contrarily, perhaps it was a measure by BELIFT Lab to curb unnecessary questioning and out-of-context clips circulating online. There has been no confirmation by the company yet. The notice fans received says that the payment would be refunded to the same account used to make it.

Devastated by the news about Heeseung, many fans had been looking forward to seeing him. Since the announcement, the K-pop idol has not made any appearances on social media or fan communities. He last posted a handwritten letter addressing the Weverse notice on his departure.
As a result, several ENGENEs wondered why the offline fansign was cancelled while the online calls were not. They thought the company was “playing with” fans’ feelings by sharing this information one by one, and cancelling only one part. Others thought that all the members and Heeseung were being asked to stay out of the public eye. They thought the idols should be free to share their opinions.
So fancalls are ok, but fansign aren’t? Are they trying to keep Heeseung out of the public eye, or is he just not ready yet? how exactly do they define a “full refund” when fansign winners buy albums in bulk like hundreds?
Plus, Ni-Ki won’t be attending either? This is insane https://t.co/zOBoZwzsWa— Bebe베베 #ENHYPEN7 (@moonstruckevan) March 17, 2026
they are playing with people feelings bc why didn’t they cancel everything from the start then ??? and i assume ni-ki won’t be there too ? lol what’s the point to even keep the fansign https://t.co/7P9fvHWzQD

that company is both useless and heartless. it’s been seven days since and all we’ve gotten is a statement from them and a statement from heeseung, articles aimed to shut us up & a fansign cancellation. i just want to know if heeseung is ok. and i wish they would stop silencing…
