Sad news for the Heartstopper fans, as the show will not be returning with a season 4. Based on the novel of the same name, the Netflix series has won many hearts for being an emotional and realistic love story around a gay couple. However, the show has been officially stopped for further production after three seasons of constant entertainment since 2022. That’s not it, though, because the show will be coming in the form of a feature film, and that has got the audience looking forward to something. Read here for more about it.
Heartstopper Is Not Coming With Season 4
Kit Connor and Joe Locke’s starrer Heartstopper started in 2022 with the first season of the series. The last season of this show was dropped in 2024, and the show was created by Alice Oseman. It’s fun, chill, emotional queer age-of-coming drama that gained a lot of popularity among the young audience. However, unfortunately, the show has not been confirmed for the fourth season. But nothing to get sad about because Heartstopper will be coming with a feature film. The characters of Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring, played by Kit Connor and Joe Locke respectively, will once again come alive on the big screen, and this has certainly got the Heartstopper fans excited.
Wash Westmoreland will be directing the film, and Alice Oseman will be one of the executive producers in the film. The film’s shoot begins soon, as per the reports, and one can expect some closure in the lives of Nick and Charlie.
