Tom Harper also shared his experience of doing a film led and produced by Gal Gadot. He called Heart Of Stone different from other movies in this genre, not just because it has a female lead but also the fact that it is not a copy of a stereotypical male action hero. Another thing about the female lead character that appealed to Tom Harper was that it was written in a more realistic way, and had a humanistic approach. Furthermore, the director also explained the female character as someone who is a survivor and fighter but at the same time was not doing everything alone, which makes it believable.
