Dropping the first-look poster on Instagram, the Harry Potter television series has attracted a lot of attention from fans and the general public alike. With a brand new cast and a freshness beguiling age, read on for more about the first look of the series.
Dominic McLaughlin As Harry Potter Is Seen In A Quidditch Uniform In HBO Harry Potter Series First Look
Currently being filmed at the Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, UK, the first look was dropped on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. While it showed the lead, Dominic McLaughlin, one could only see his back as he walked in a Gryffindor Quidditch uniform.
With the name “Potter” and a 7 prominently displayed on the red and gold robes, the surroundings showed a huge crowd of people facing away from the camera. The scene likely took place at a match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, with crests of both houses being seen in the background. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry can also be seen lurking in the frame. With the whole scene taking place on a snowy field, all the supposed students were bundled up in sweaters. Dominic, as Harry, also carried a broomstick (presumably the Nimbus 2000).

Revealed on the official HBO Instagram handle, its caption was a cryptic “Tomorrow” along with the lightning emoji, which has become synonymous with Harry’s scar. Some posit that the series will drop its teaser video or some other behind-the-scenes content on Wednesday, March 25. However, fans will have to wait and watch.

Also starring Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, the series marks the second adaptation of the seven novels, following the massively successful film series.
