What Tamannaah Bhatia Said

During a chat with Harper’s Bazaar India, Tamannaah Bhatia said that she had been in front of the camera since the age of 15, making it difficult to hide anything from the audience. She said that she had a slender body type in her late 20s, which had always been her natural frame. The actress explained that her current body wasn’t anything new, but maybe was to the Hindi belt.

She pointed out how women’s bodies are always changing and also shared how the pandemic had a significant impact on her health, making it harder to maintain her earlier weight. Despite following healthy habits, she admitted to struggling with body image while facing the camera, often feeling self-conscious about her appearance and wondering why her body wasn’t the same as before.

Tamannaah concluded by emphasising that inflammation and body changes are a natural part of a woman’s cycle, something she personally experienced in her early 30s. She noted that her body shape is defined by her natural bone structure and heritage, adding that she doesn’t aim to fit into global beauty ideals. Instead, she believes Indian women should take pride in their curves and embrace their individuality.
