In recent events, talks about the late star Madhubala’s biopic have been making headlines. And while everyone is eager to see who will be playing the role of the legendary actress on-screen, new reports suggest that none other than Aneet Padda has been locked to play the lead in the film. Aneet Padda In Madhubala Biopic
Reports suggest that Aneet Padda will begin shooting for the Madhubala biopic soon; other reports suggest that the YRF spokesperson has denied these. The film is to be directed by Darlings‘ director Jasmeet K Reen, and more details about the case will be revealed soon by the makers. Previously, reports of Bollywood star Kiara Advani doing the biopic were also afloat, but neither party confirmed anything. Before gaining massive success with Saiyaara, Padda appeared in small roles like the 2022 film Salaam Venky, featuring Kajol and an OTT series called Big Girls Don’t Cry in 2024.
Though her breakthrough came with the Mohit Suri film Saiyaara, where she starred opposite Ahaan Panday. This boosted her personality among the youth and many casting directors. Another report by India Today revealed that Padda will also be starring opposite Vishal Jethwa in Shakti Shaloni. This film is going to be a part of the Maddock horror comedy universe after Stree 1 and 2, Munjya, Bhedia, Roohi, and Thamma.
