Women are often the victims of paparazzi, as many aren’t considerate enough to not capturing them from certain angles that might make them feel uncomfortable. In recent events, as Hardik Pandya’s girlfriend Mahieka Sharma stepped out of a restaurant in a black mini dress, an uncomfortable angle of her was shot and shared on social media, and now, the cricketer has slammed them for doing so.

Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya took to his Instagram stories after a video of his girlfriend Mahieka Sharma exiting the restaurant went viral. He wrote, “Today something happened that crossed a line. Mahieka was simply walking down a staircase at a Bandra restaurant when paparazzi decided to capture her from an angle that no woman deserves to be photographed from. A private moment was turned into cheap sensationalism.”

He said that the matter was about privacy and respecting a woman’s dignity. He said that though he respected the paparazzi’s hustles, they must cooperate and be mindful of what they are capturing. Pandya urged everyone to have humanity and not capture everything. Last November, rumours circulated that Hardik and Mahieka were taking the next step in their relationship. The news arrived just after the two performed the Hanuman puja at home. However, it was later found that Hardik and Mahieka are not yet engaged. Hardik was formerly married to Nataša Stanković before discovering new love in modelling. Hardik and Nataša split up but continue to co-parent their son Agastya Pandya.
