In recent events, fresh reports suggest that the Gurugram hit-and-run accused, Kalyan Bainsla, was coming back from a club after partying with 3 of his friends. After this, he knocked down the woman biker, Siya, with his car, as per NDTV. A source from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) told the outlet that he reached the Empire Club Bar and Lounge in Sector 25 with friends at 12 AM, after which they partied all night and left at 5 AM.
About Gurugram Hit-And-Run Case
The outlet reported that Kalyan Bainsla and his friends were headed towards the Golf Course Road, with him driving and his friend, Lavnish, who is also in police custody, in the passenger seat. Reports suggest that it was Lavnish who told Bainsla to chase Shivani Chauhan, aka Siya. Their first interaction happened around Sector 53 metro station in Gurugram. The Gurugram police have sent notice to two other people present in his vehicle at the time of the accident. Their statements were recorded by the SIT, and the decision on their arrest will be taken after questioning.
The police have also asked for CCTV footage from the club along with the DVR data. Apart from this, the blood and urine samples of the accused have also been sent for testing to know if he was drunk. For the unversed, it started after Siya shared a horrifying video of Kalyan Bainsla’s car hitting her while she was riding her Aprilia RS 457 bike. This accident sent her skidding from the road. In the footage, he was also seen teasing her after she told him to maintain distance from his car. Just seconds before the hit, Kalyan even allegedly made indecent comments against her.
