Gear up ladies because Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor Aditya Roy Kapur has a women’s day gift for all of us. The actor dropped the teaser of his upcoming psychological crime-thriller, Gumraah. Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series in collaboration with Murad Khetani’s Cine One Studio, Gumraah marks the directorial debut of Vardhan Ketkar. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy.

The teaser opens with a ruggedly handsome-looking Aditya Roy Kapur making an intense and angry phone call. The story revolves around police racing to solve a murder case that involves two suspects who look alike but do not know each other. Mrunal Thakur plays the role of a cop along with Ronit Roy. Sharing the intense and thrilling teaser, Aditya Roy Kapur wrote a caption that hints at deception of sorts. Take a look at the teaser of Gumraah.

For the unversed, Gumraah is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu language film Thadam which is based on true events. Interestingly, Gumraah does not give away the fact that ARK is going to be playing a double role in the film leaving the viewers curious about what’s happening in the film. The makers have managed to maintain the mystery very well. However, if you look at the trailer of the original film, several scenes look exactly the same including the one where the murder take places showing the murderer dressed in a yellow raincoat. Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy’s film is set to release in the theatres on April 7 and we just cannot wait to watch this intense crime thriller.
