About Govinda
Govinda recently faced a health scare back in November 2025, after which his divorce rumours with his wife Ssunita Ahuja, came out. But now, his manager has alleged that he has been receiving death threats lately and also recalled a recent episode of the actor almost getting attacked in his own residence by unidentified assailants. During a recent chat with ANI, his manager said, “Thank god he had a gun with him the day he got attacked. He chased everyone away. Otherwise god knows what would’ve happened to him. I rushed to him at 4 am. We also filed an FIR. We also have a video of what happened that night.”
While Shashi Sinha did not specify when the incident occurred, he did claim that Govinda was injured during the attack. He claimed that the actor was injured in self-defence, which immediately reminded fans of the incident in which Govinda accidentally shot himself. In October 2024, Govinda was hospitalised after allegedly shooting himself in the foot while cleaning his gun. He sustained leg injuries after his firearm unintentionally went off at his Mumbai home as he was prepared to leave for the airport, according to authorities.
At the time, Govinda’s manager, Shashi, revealed that the actor was going to leave his Mumbai house at roughly 4:45 a.m. for the airport to catch a 6 a.m. flight to Kolkata for a performance. He revealed that the trigger on his licensed revolver was accidentally pressed when he was storing it in the cupboard. The rifle misfired, and a bullet struck his leg. The police later stated that no one had filed a complaint in this case.
