Bollywood star Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have often made headlines about their marriage controversies. It was recently speculated that they were separating, but then they quashed those rumours by celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together. And now, during a chat on Two Much With Kajol And Twinkle, the actor has opened up about his wife and revealed some qualities and areas for improvement.
Govinda On Sunita Ahuja
Govinda started by calling his wife, Sunita Ahuja, the ‘child’ of their family. He highlighted that despite having a child-like nature, she managed to take care of the responsibilities that were given to her. Govinda pointed out that her wife’s words were never wrong, but the problem arises when she says things that she shouldn’t. The actor also pointed out how it’s difficult to understand things from Sunita’s perspective.
“The problem with men is that they can’t think on those lines. I always believe that man runs the house, but women run the whole world,” he added. When asked if Ahuja ever corrected her mistakes, Govinda said that he has forgiven her and the family many times for their mistakes. He reflected on how men often grow emotionally dependent on their wives, especially in the absence of their mothers. Over time, he noted, the bond evolves, wives begin to guide, correct, and care in ways that mirror a mother’s role, often without realising how much they’ve changed from their younger selves.

Rumours about Govinda and Sunita’s divorce have circulated online since February. Speculation regarding Govinda and Sunita’s relationship problems grew after Sunita Ahuja revealed personal information in a series of recent interviews a few months ago.
