Govinda Apologises For Ssunita Ahuja’s Priest Remarks
According to a clip shared by India Today, Govinda issued an apology for Ssunita Ahuja’s remarks about his priest. Not just that, he also expressed how much he respected him. In the video, the Hero No. 1 star first praised the priest, Mukesh Shukla and then went on to address his wife’s remarks. Govinda clarified that he condemned them. The actor shared that the priest and his family have stood by him in the hardest times and he deeply respected them.
For the unversed, in Paras Chabbra’s podcast, Ssunita called the priest “fake.” She admitted to telling Govinda multiple times to do his own puja because the priest’s puja’s won’t help the actor. She expressed not believing in giving away money for those rituals. Ssunita shared that it was better to wake up early and do it yourself. She went on to question how someone else’s donation and hawan can help one. Ssunita shared that she does not believe people who ask to do rituals in exchange for money and claim that their family will do fine after that, adding that they are all thieves.
