Music director Ismail Darbar has been receiving criticism after he said that he could not tolerate her daughter-in-law Gauahar Khan working after motherhood. He also said that his son and her husband, Zaid Darbar, had the right to ask her to stop working if they wanted. And now, the actress has made her first post after this statement. What Gauahar Khan Posted

Gauahar Khan took to her Instagram story and shared a note about being a boy mom. It said, “Raising a boy is a beautiful kind of chaos. He runs instead of walks, climbs instead of sits, and shouts instead of whispers- yet he still pauses to kiss your cheek, grab your hand and call you beautiful with peanut butter on his face.” She wrote, “Allahumma baarik,” on it. She also released excerpts from her upcoming song video with Ankita Lokhande’s husband, Vicky Jain. Gauahar has yet to respond to Ismail’s comments.

For the unversed, during a recent chat with Vickey Lalwani, Ismail Darbar said that Gauahar Khan has a wonderful relationship with her husband, Zaid Darbar. When asked if he watched his daughter-in-law’s work, he said that he came from a conservative family where they avoid watching bold scenes in film, a practice that they continue even today. Ismail said that since Guauhar was a part of their family, they felt responsible for her dignity and reputation.

However, he added that it wasn’t his place to interfere in her career choices; that’s something only his son Zaid Darbar could speak about. To avoid discomfort, he simply chooses not to engage with content that might upset him, admitting that he wouldn’t hold back if something bothered him.
