But have you heard of actors being rejected for roles because they are too good-looking for the part they were to play? Well, actor Gauahar Khan has faced this and she lost the blockbuster film Slumdog Millionaire because she was told by the director of the film Danny Boyle that she was way too good-looking for the role.

In a chat with Film Companion, Gauahar Khan revealed that one of the biggest projects she lost in her career was Slumdog Millionaire. She said that she met Danny Boyle and went through five rounds of auditions for the role as well. To this, Danny Boyle responded by saying that she spoke like someone who spoke like an actor who was from outside of India. He had also asked her how does she how his kind of experience. Gauahar replied by saying that she tries and does it every single day.
