The actor in an interview lauded his daughter for choosing natural delivery over C-section, calling the latter process easy and convenient. Besides the many moms and women on the internet who slammed the actor for the unusual remark on childbirth, actress Gauahar Khan finally spoke up against it.

Well, it all happened when the actress spoke about motherhood and her journey of childbirth on her podcast–MaaaNoranjan. Speaking about the same, the actress revealed that she went through a miscarriage, before giving birth to her firstborn child–Zehaan. During the podcast, Khan described the feeling of going through a miscarriage and how she lost her baby within 9 weeks of conceiving. Later, she blasted Shetty for his remarks on mothers choosing C-section and said–”I want to like scream at the top of my voice and say, How could you say that? Like how? There are so many myths around this topic — that if someone is having a C-section, it’s the easier option.”

She further added–”How can there be so much misinformation? and for a male celebrity to say that, who didn’t go through pregnancy, didn’t carry a child, doesn’t know how painful C-section is.” Well, we agree with her. For the unversed, Khan is currently pregnant with her second child. Suniel Shetty on the other hand just became a grandfather to daughter Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s first child. The actor in an interview said that in a world where every mother wants the comfort of having a caesarean baby, his daughter Athiya chose to have a natural delivery. Phir kya, criticism toh banta hai na!
