Taiwan Police Arrests Four People For Illegally Reselling G-Dragon, BLACKPINK’s Concert Tickets
Recently, a group was caught for illegally buying and reselling tickets to G-Dragon and BLACKPINK's concert in Taiwan.

Reselling of concert tickets has become so common that scalpers don’t seem to worry about the consequences. But the police eventually find out and take action. As numerous K-pop idols are on tour, the issue about scalpers illegally selling concert tickets is on the rise. Recently, a number of individuals were caught by the police in Taiwan for illegally buying and reselling tickets to G-Dragon and BLACKPINK’s concert in Taiwan.
On July 23, Taiwanese media outlets, like the China Times and the Free Times, reported to the police department that they caught four people for illegally reselling tickets to G-Dragon’s Übermensch world tour stop in Taipei. Well, it’s good and significant, as this growing problem of concert ticket scalping for high-end events of celebrities makes it tough for loyal fans.
Not just this, during their investigation, the police found evidence of approximately 1,500 tickets for the G-Dragon concert and an additional 1,000 tickets. Furthermore, they found 500 tickets for the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s concert.
As per further reports, one of the scalpers, Mr. Liu, worked with an engineer. The engineer used a ticketing bot and an ID generator and bought a large amount of tickets and then sold them at a higher price. These made it difficult for fans to secure tickets at face value.
