A report by Page Six suggested that Taylor Swift had 20-minute-long vows for her husband Travis Kelce, which made him “very emotional” and teary at their wedding. The singer reportedly talked about how the athlete was that person in high school who would hang out with the less popular kids despite being into sports and how she wished she knew someone like him when she was in high school. Another source told the outlet that Kelce was the one who was more emotional between them when everyone thought it would be the bride. Reportedly, Swift also became “teary” after her husband promised to protect her forever, as per Daily Mail.
On the other hand, the Kansas City Chiefs star was “nervous” while talking about his love in front of a 1,000 guests but managed to “keep it together.” On the other hand, Adam Sandler, who officiated their wedding, gave them advice to “kiss every chance they have” to avoid problems, as per Chiefs coach Andy Reid. The couple, who got engaged in August 2025, also gifted embroidered handkerchiefs with the location and date of their special day in case they “needed to wipe their tears.”
