Fans have been restlessly waiting for any sign of confirmation for the next season of HBO’s mega hit show Euphoria since season 2 concluded in 2022. Well, good news! The wait is finally over as HBO shared an official look for the season with a picture of Rue (played by actress Zendaya), confirming the news that season 3 of the show is officially in the works. Here is everything we know about the upcoming season so far.
Production
After several talks of cancellation and delays HBO’s Chief Content Officer, Casey Bloys squashed the rumors by confirming that filming for the new season has begun in early 2025.

Cast
With the main cast Zendaya, Jacob Elordie, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie and more come back to reprise their roles for the show, they are also joined by some new faces. It has been announced that Veteran actress Sharon Stone, Spanish Pop Star ROSALÍA and ‘Lost’ actor Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje will be joining the ensemble as well.
Plot
According to HBO Euphoria Updates, an insider fan account the plot will follow the main lead Rue having a redemption arc over the course of 8 episodes. The story will also feature a series of past events resurfacing in the present, while introducing new characters to tie up the loose ends.

So far, two images from the set of the show has been leaked.
A video obtained by TMZ shows the behind the scenes of Zendaya and Spanish actress Priscilla Delgado shooting. The pair appears to be in an intense argument. Delgado is also a new addition to the cast and fans are excited to know more about the character she will play.
Sydney Sweeney was also recently spotted filming in Los Angeles for the show. Pictures show her dressed in a full bridal gown at what appears to be a wedding ceremony. Nate and Cassie fans can’t help but anticipate for what’s to come for the couple in the new season.
