BTS RM did a late-night Weverse livestream on 7th December that has got the internet talking. In the live, RM was surprisingly raw and transparent with fans as he discussed various topics about BTS, the industry and more. Now, the 30-minute live is going viral on the internet as fans are dissecting the BTS leaders’ candid words. From the group’s changing dynamics to Jungkook’s alleged dating rumours. Here is everything RM talked about in the live. Read on to know more.
About BTS’ Comeback
All members of BTS completed their military service this year. However, after their discharge, their group activities have been minimal. This led some fans to express their frustration as they waited a long time to see BTS together ever since their hiatus.
RM addressed this issue in his live and explained that he himself wanted to work this year; however, the group was unable to due to logistical reasons and other factors that he could not mention. RM apologised to fans for the long wait and said that preparations for the album are underway as members are practising and shooting content almost every day.
On The Group’s Changing Dynamics
Another topic that RM addressed in the live was BTS’ changing dynamics. He talked about his role as the group’s leader and how it has evolved. He explained that now, since all the members have grown, they have different lifestyles and personalities. RM cannot represent the entire team by himself like he used to in the past.
BTS RM Sets Boundaries
BTS RM also called out some comments that mentioned other members. He asked fans to refrain from doing that, emphasising that he is doing a solo live to interact with ARMYs. RM called the comments upsetting and said that other members have phones and will do a live if they want to.
BTS RM Addresses Ongoing Controversy
Jungkook has been embroiled in dating rumours with Aespa Winter that have gone viral on the internet, and fans think that RM seemingly addressed the situation in his live.
The BTS leader spoke about his responsibility in addressing his group members’ personal situations. He said that since most of the BTS members are now in their 30s, they can handle their own circumstances without RM needing to speak up for them. “The idea that I should go to the company due to the members, or that I should somehow control or manage what the members do, that doesn’t really apply anymore,” he stated.
On Disbandment
The one thing that took both fans and netizens by shock was when RM spoke about disbandment. The leader candidly shared the pressure he is under and even has to take sleeping pills as a result. Talking about his struggles, RM said that the thought of disbandment had crossed his mind multiple times. But then he revealed that the reason BTS is still together is due to the love that members have for each other and the group.
