Recently, a former member of popular girl group Weeekly, Shin Jiyoon, opened up about her decision to leave the industry and expressed how much happier she feels now. Read on to know below!

Jiyoon took to Instagram and shared a video of her performance. In the video, she added, “You look happier? Thanks, I escaped the toxic K-Pop idol industry and started to follow my dream on my own.” She also wrote a caption talking about her journey as an independent K-pop artist.

The former Weeekly member shared that she began her solo career last year, and her latest single was about to reach 200,000 views. She also announced that she was currently on a US tour and thanked her fans for support. Take a look at the video below!
