The authorities confirmed that the idol-turned-actor broke stalking laws and moved fast to get court orders to protect her. According to Chosun Biz, he went to the woman’s house while carrying a weapon. The police are still investigating the details of what happened. Following which, the idol-turned-actor has spoken out about the accusations. As reported by The Korea Herald, he told a news outlet that he didn’t stalk the woman. The idol-turned-actor said that they were dating for a few months. Choi Jung Won admitted that they argued when he tried to end the relationship. However, he denied having a weapon, saying he only talked about hurting himself during their fight.
Back in December 2022, he was accused of having an affair with a married woman. Her husband sued Choi, demanding a massive amount in damages. The idol-turned-actor denied the claims and fought back by suing the husband, saying the accusations were false and meant to harm his reputation. He also claimed the husband tried to scare him.
