The former K-pop idol took to his Instagram story and penned a long note. He apologised for causing worry and shock to his fans due to unsettling news. The former K-pop idol also confirmed that he was at the gathering with acquaintances and alcohol was present. He further stated that the meeting took place in the early morning hours of May 30, 2025 and while he was indeed there, the claims of his involvement in illegal activities or prostitution, as reported by various articles and rumours, are completely false. Lastly, the former K-pop idol expressed deep regret for his actions and offered a sincere apology to everyone who was upset by the news.

What Exactly Happened?
According to an exclusive report from News1, the former K-pop idol was seen with Kirara Asuka, a former Japanese adult film actress. The report also mentioned that Ju Haknyeon and some friends met with her on May 29 and shared drinks together. The former K-pop idol even hugged the former adult actress.

Agency’s Response And Fan Reaction
In response to these reports, Ju Haknyeon’s agency, One Hundred Label, stated that they had spoken with Ju Haknyeon and verified the details with him. Later, it was announced that he had been removed from the group and the agency. Fans have mixed reactions to it.
