Former NewJeans Member Danielle Donates 302 Million Won Post-Contract Termination. Here’s Why Everyone’s Speechless!

Recently, it was announced that Danielle’s contract with her agency has ended. This means she is no longer in the group NewJeans. Soon after, she made new accounts on Instagram and YouTube. She even went live to talk with fans. Now, recent reports claim that she has started an account on a big Chinese social media app and also donated 302 million won to a good cause. Read on to know more about it.

The donation details came from YANA, a nonprofit organisation that supports single-parent families and young people starting life on their own. On its fourth anniversary, the organisation shared a list of major donors and Danielle’s name was there. She reportedly donated a total of 302 million Korean won, which is about 205,000 US dollars.

Many people felt surprised by the large amount. They wondered how she could give so much, especially during her lawsuit from ADOR. The company is asking for more than 43 billion won in damages after the contract ended.

At the same time, Danielle created an account on Xiaohongshu, called RedNote in English and quickly gained so many followers. This is one of China’s most popular apps and her older sister, Olivia Marsh, followed her soon after, which helped to confirm that it was really her.
