Taeil Seeks Relief From Supreme Court In Aggravated R*pe Case
At the first appeal hearing, the former K-pop idol admitted to s*xually assaulting a drunk woman from China. This horrible incident happened in 2014 at a bar in Itaewon when Taeil, along with his two friends, met the woman at the club. She was extremely drunk and the crime was labelled “special quasi-r*pe”, and it led to their guilty verdict.
Taeil expressed his sincere apologies andregret. He took full responsibility for the incident and promised to never break the law again. However, things have taken a major turn now. All three men have now asked the Supreme Court to look at the case again. Therefore, the supreme court will check everything and give the last ruling.
Notably, many netizens wanted a strict ruling for the former K-pop idol. They thought the three-year and six-month sentence wasn’t enough for his horrible actions. Now, since he has challenged the verdict, they are even more furious.
