As per reports, a popular Chinese blogger wrote that the former EXO member’s health got worse after he stopped eating for a long time and passed away. Someone else claimed that Kris Wu was put up in a tiny dark room alone, and he died there because of a hunger strike. These posts spread like wildfire across social media platforms but no one could prove them.

It all started with public accusations made by a beauty blogger.The former EXO member was found guilty in November 2022 by the Beijing Chaoyang District Court of engaging in group s*x in 2018 and r*ping three drunk women in his house.

Kris Wu’s appeal against the initial decision was affirmed by a higher court in November 2023. He will be expelled from China after completing his sentence. In addition, he was penalised 600 million yuan (about $84 million USD) for evading taxes.
