Former BIGBANG member Seungri is once again in the spotlight over a new police case. The singer has reportedly been accused of assaulting a man in his 30s following an incident at a restaurant. A complaint was filed against him in August, and the case has now gained fresh attention after a Korean media outlet reported new details about what allegedly happened. Seungri Accused Of Assault
According to an exclusive report by News1, a man in his 30s filed a complaint against Seungri at the Gangnam Police Station on August 26. He accused the former BIGBANG member of aggravated assault, claiming that Seungri attacked him at a restaurant.
The man also alleged that he was threatened during the incident. However, Seungri’s side has denied this part of the accusation and said that no threats were made.
CCTV Footage Surfaces
The case received renewed attention on September 23 when JTBC reported on the incident and shared CCTV footage from the restaurant.
The footage reportedly shows Seungri interacting with the man. At one point, he appears to pick up a bottle, which matches a detail mentioned in the original complaint. People who were with the former BIGBANG member can also be seen holding him back.
The CCTV footage further shows Seungri kicking towards something during the confrontation. However, the available footage does not show everything that happened before or after the incident, so the full context remains unclear.
However, the former BIGBANG member has denied assaulting the man. His side has maintained that there was no physical attack and disputed the claims made in the complaint.
