First Kanaphan Puttichai and Khaotung Thanawat Ratanakitpaisan, Thai BL stars, have gone viral among the niche fandom for their statements on what they call each other. Apparently, the pair refers to the other as ‘feuan‘. This delighted fans when FirstKhaotung explained the meaning. First Kanaphan And Khaotung Thanawat Say Their Relationship Is Of “Feuan,” Here’s What It Means

In an interview with Mom Choice, the Thai actors revealed what this newly coined word means. While it has no actual meaning in the Thai language, FirstKhaotung combined two words to create “feuan.” Phuean in Thai means friend, while faen is a gender-neutral term for lover or partner.

Detailing it further, First Kanaphan clarified that their relationship was more than friendship, “but not quite romantic either.” The actor seemed amused by this, while Khaotung looked on, pleased.

The pair are currently starring together in the heartwarming BL series, Cat For Cash. This is hardly their first collaboration, but the cats explore adorable characteristics in both actors. The series, produced by GMMTV, shows the developing relationship between Tiger, a debt collector, and Lynx, who takes on his mother’s debt.

Tiger, the scary moneylender with a soft spot for cats, is portrayed by First. Despite being allergic to the fluffy felines, he can’t help but seek their approval. An accident caused him to understand catspeak. He uses this ability to help Lynx run a cat cafe.

Khaotung plays the character of Lynx to perfection. An interpreter by profession, he is a reluctant owner of his mom’s cat cafe. Running into issues from the first day, he learns how to gain the animals’ trust while developing feelings for his creditor, Tiger. Resembling a prickly kitty who gets along with few, he opens his heart to Tiger.

Cat For Cash started airing on January 20 on the GMMTV YouTube channel. The last episode will be released on March 24, 2026. Meanwhile, the production company has also commissioned a 3-episode vertical short drama in the same universe, Cat For Honeymoon. It is set to be broadcast on March 21.
