Remember the craze for labubu dolls which some of us found it hard it understand too. Well, if you still don’t know about it, wait a little because a film has been confirmed on it. Some details of the upcoming movie on Labubu Dolls are out, an it has created quite a buzz around it already. The rights of the film have been bought by Sony, as per the reports. Read here for more.

Film On Labubu Dolls

There are many reports that confirm a labubu film. Sony and Pop Tart has come together to back the film, as per the statement from both the companies. As per an USA Today report, the film’s rights were bought by Sony last November. The film is already in its early stages of making, and it will be a mix of live action and CGI. According to the reports, Paul King will be directing the labubu doll film. The director is known for Wonka, Paddington and  Paddington 2. Well, as of now, only this has been revealed about the film, and no fix release dates have been announced as of now.

What Are Labubu Dolls?

Firstly, they are some scary looking creatures available in many colours, but it has a history. The dolls were created by Kasing Lung, a Hong Kong artist. They are evil-looking monsters and inspired by the Nordic folklore. It was owned by Pop Tart It became  popular after it was sported by BLACKPINK’s Lisa. The craze increase when many known celebrities like Dua Lipa, Gigi Hadid and Beyonce among others were seen using the labubu dolls bag charms.
