The money will give more children around the world a chance to play football and get a good education. One dollar from every World Cup ticket sold went to this fund. Global Citizen worked hard to make the show happen, and singer Chris Martin helped plan the performances.

On the field, Spain played a strong game. They beat Argentina one goal to zero after extra time in the final on July 19, 2026. It was a tough match, but Spain gave their best and took home the 2026 World Cup trophy.
