Charles Leclerc, Alexandra Saint Mluex Get Engaged
Charles Leclerc, 28, got their beloved dachshund, Leo, to help him propose to his longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Saint Mluex. He planned the proposal by having, “Dad wants to marry you” engraved on a dog bone-shaped tag with a bow tie, and I am crying as I type this. The driver also had masses of red roses in heart shape with candles laid out. Not just this, Leclerc had cookies in the shape of their initials at the dinner table. What else could a girl ask for? It was perfect. He wrote, “Mr². & Mrs Leclerc.”
The news brought many blessings and shock reactions from the duo’s fans and friends. Leclerc’s former Ferrari partner, Carlos Sainz, commented, “Yesssss” (with clapping hand emojis), while his current partner Lewis Hamilton said, “Congratulations to you both.” McLaren star Oscar Piastri also congratulated the happy couple.
The two were first linked together in 2023 when a video of Charles at the Paris Fashion Week grabbed eyeballs with Alexandra in the background. Though she had a private Instagram account at the time and was a non-celebrity, fans saw the spark between them and rumours about their relationship began. Alexandra was invited to join Charles’ Ferrari squad for the Monaco F1 Grand Prix in the same year. By this point, it was clear that the two were dating.
