Following this revelation, it was later speculated that D4vd played a part in the murder of the body, which was identified as 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) recently announced D4vd to be a suspect in Celeste’s death; however, in a twist of events, the first potential arrest that the police are said to be making is not the singer but another person. First Arrest Made In Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s Murder Case Might Not Be D4vd
Sources report that prosecutors are moving to detain a key female witness who has refused to testify before the jury. This move signals a new turn in Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s murder case, as previously, netizens thought that D4vd would be named the prime suspect in the investigation, as Celeste’s body was found inside his Tesla.
According to TMZ, Robert Morgenroth, general manager of D4vd, and the female witness share the same attorney, Evan Jenness. Morgenroth, who was on the stand for almost three days, got into a heated argument with D.A. Silverman over why he didn’t call the police.
Morgenroth told his lawyer that he didn’t think it was his responsibility to take action and that his main concern was to continue D4vd’s tour. While the immediate arrest threat targets the female witness, sources say that D4vd still remains one of the central suspects in the murder investigation.
The Los Angeles Police Department, along with the District Attorney, are investigating Celeste’s case as a potential homicide. D4vd was named a suspect weeks ago, but has no charges filed against him yet.
It was also previously reported that Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s body at the time of discovery was severely decapitated, which makes it difficult and almost impossible to determine the exact cause of her death.
