Fawad Khan Reacts To Pahalgam Terror Attack Amid Abir Gulaal Boycott, Prays For Healing Of Victim Families

The Pahalgam terror attack has deeply shaken the entire country. It has left people online feeling angry and heartbroken. Following the attack, angry netizens took to their social media handles and called to boycott the upcoming film Abir Gulaal starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan with Vaani Kapoor. It became a heated debate, following which the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) announced a complete ban on all Pakistani artists working in India. In a statement, the FWICE made it clear that they will take all possible steps to ensure that Abir Gulaal does not get released in India.
Amid this online discussion, Fawad Khan took to his Instagram handle and reacted to the tragedy. He wrote that he was deeply saddened by the terrible attack in Pahalgam. He further expressed his sympathy for the victims and their families and wished them strength and healing during this difficult time.
Fawad Khan’s co-star Vaani Kapoor also reacted to the tragic attack. She wrote, “Have been numb, at a loss of words since the time I have seen the attack on innocent people in Pahalgam. Gutted. Devastated. My prayers are with the families.”
According to news reports, the tragic and devastating attack resulted in the deaths of at least 28 people and injured 10 others. Shockingly, it has also been reported that the terrorists asked the tourists about their religion before shooting them. This detail has further fuelled the outrage and grief surrounding the incident.
