According to earlier reports, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was going to return to Bollywood after his last film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, in 2016. The new project was said to be with Vaani Kapoor. Fawad Khan To Star Alongside Ridhi Dogra In A Rom-com Drama
Well, today is a good day for Fawad Khan fans as he’s soon going to make his much-awaited Bollywood comeback. According to Hindustan Times, Fawad Khan and Ridhi Dogra will star in a romantic comedy-drama, whereas, other co-actors for the film are yet to be cast. Furthermore, Fawad Khan and Ridhi Dogra will play the romantic leads, however, the director’s name is still a secret.
As per Hindustan Time’s sources, the makers haven’t begun shooting as both actors are tied up with prior commitments. The shoot is scheduled to kick off towards the end of this year and are planning to release the film by the end of next year or the beginning of 2026. Moreover, the duo won’t be filming any scenes in India as all the filming schedules are planned to take place abroad. They are going to shoot in different locations such as New York (USA) and London (UK). “It matches the theme of their rom-com drama,” added Hindustan Time’s source.
