In a conversation with The Male Feminist hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan, actress Fatima Sana Shaikh talked about what it was like working with Aap Jaisa Koi co-star R Madhavan on set and how he is a feminist.
Fatima Sana Shaikh On How R Madhavan Is A Feminist
Fatima Sana Shaikh talked about how when working on a set with R Madhavan, he never exudes an attitude of authority or ego. “With him on set, there is never a space indicating that, oh, I have arrived.” Explains Shaikh. She also elaborates on R Madhavan’s humble nature by saying,”It’s not like he demands that I’m the hero so I want this specific red chair.” According to Sana, working with Madhavan is very breezy; he usually just sits in a corner during shoots quietly by himself, too. Throughout the conversation, the actress pointed out R Madhavan’s quiet and respectful nature towards women.

Aap Jaisa Koi is a Hindi language film directed by Vivek Soni and starring R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. The story follows the lives of two unique individuals, Shrirenu Tripathi and Madhu Bose. Together, they set out on a journey full of twists and heartwarming moments. The film is set to release on 11 July on Netflix.
