Bigg Boss 19’s contents have not shied away from saying problematic things. Many times fans have slammed them for the same. This time Farrhana Bhatt came under the netizens’ radar for mocking Gaurav Khanna and calling him “aurat” while arguing during the captaincy task. A woman saying this as an insult stings more than anything. Let’s explore what happened and how netizens reacted to it.

Farrhana Bhatt Calls Gaurav Khanna “Aurat

During Bigg Boss 19’s recent captaincy task, a fight between Mridul Tiwari and Farrhana Bhatt broke out after they physically pushed one another. Soon, Gaurav Khanna also became a part of their fight. She asked the actor why he wasn’t asking Mridul to keep quiet. Gaurav was heard saying that she called it upon herself. Farrhana kept on saying that Mridul was the one who pushed her and insulted Gaurav by calling him an “aurat” (woman) and that he doesn’t have any point of view. He retaliated by asking her to keep on talking and show her real face to everyone.

Soon, netizens started talking about Farrhana calling Khanna a woman as an insult. Many Redditors asked who was even voting for her at this point and how much they disliked what she said. People were surprised that being a woman herself, she made that comment. Fans who supported Farrhana earlier expressed thier regret over the same. Multiple netizens shared that they don’t want to see her in the BB house anymore.

Why Is This Problematic?

During the fight, Farrhana Bhatt clearly tried to insult Gaurav Khanna by saying that he was a woman. It was followed by saying that he has no point of view. This made me question if she was trying to say that women in general do not have a pov. Even in 2025, people think that being a woman is insulting, wow! It was hurtful because this came from a woman herself. Her comment can seriously influence young minds. We hope that Salman Khan raises this topic during the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar. We know that won’t be enough, but let’s hope that somehow her problematic insult is addressed on a big platform.
