That’s a shocking revelation made by Farah Khan because Shah Rukh Khan certainly played a very convincing role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, right? The film is still one of the favourites among the 90s kids, however, looks like we are still unaware of some interesting trivia about it. And in the latest review, Farah Khan has revealed why SRK was initially hesitant to play the character of Rahul in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She also spoke about how she convinced him to play Ram in Main Hoon Na, and both are interrelated!

Farah Khan Revealed Why SRK Was Not Keen On Doing Kuch Kuch Hota Hai!

Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hoya Hai is one of the most loved films of all time. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji were also a significant part of this film. However, surprisingly, SRK did not want to sign up for this film and the reason was revealed by director Farah Khan. During her interview on Radio Nasha, Farah revealed that Shah Rukh Khan did Kuch Kuch Hota after a lot of convincing because he did not want to play the role of a college student at the age of 30. Talking about how Farah Khan convinced King Khan to play the role of Ram in Main Hoon Na, the director stated that she read him the story backwards to show that he would be undercover and disguised as a college student. For the unversed, SRK’s Ram in Main Hoon Na also goes to college.
