Nobody can replace mothers and it’s a void that we carry all our lives. Director Farah Khan poured her heart out in the latest post as she penned a note about the unfortunate demise of her mother. She praised her mother and expressed her immense for her through words. Farah Khan also acknowledged the love and support she received from her friends and colleagues. She also thanked all the doctors who put in their best efforts to treat her mother. The director also posted some throwback pictures with her mother. Read for more.
Farah Khan Pens An Emotional Note For Her Mother
On July 5, Monday, Main Hoon Na director Farah Khan took to her social media handle to pen a long note for her mother Menaka Irani. She recalled the special moments spent with her and also hailed her mother as a unique person who led a life without any bitterness even if life was unfair to her on many occasions. Farah Khan went on to praise her mother’s humour and wit. Farah Khan also thanked and acknowledged the love, support and prayers of not just the loved ones but colleagues and people who her mother helped during difficult times. She went on to thank the doctors of Nanavati Hospital and Chandigarh PGI for treating her. In her note, Farah Khan also wrote that she is getting back to work and how her work made her mother always proud. Farah Khan also wrote that it’s a grief that she will carry in her heart always but also added that she will celebrate her mother every day instead of mourning her.

Menaka Irani passed away in the last week of July. Many of Farah Khan’s industry friends like Shilpa Shetty and Bhushan Kumar among others paid their visits.
