Her vlogs revolve around the director inviting her to go over to her celebrity friends’ houses and booking with them. Who Is Dilip?
Dilip’s journey has been a tough and inspiring one. The cook left his wife and two children in their native village in Bihra and moved to Mumbai in order to look for job opportunities. When he arrived in Mumbai, Dilip had to work jobs that had long, rigorous working hours and offered very little money. Despite the struggles, he persisted and continued to earn a livelihood for his family. Eventually, one day, renowned film director Farah Khan noticed him and was impressed by Dilip’s hard work and cooking skills. She hired him as her personal cook, and Dilip has been working for her for over a decade now.
At the start of Farah Khan’s vlogs, Dilip initially hesitated in front of the camera. Now, the cook has significantly improved, always cracking jokes that keep the audience entertained. He soon became the star in Farah’s cooking vlogs, and some guests even joked that they agreed to come to Farah’s show just because they wanted to meet Dilip.

Dilip’s story is also a rags-to-riches one. The man who once struggled to make ends meet now owns a three-storey house in Bihar where his entire family lives. The lavish house has six bedrooms, a pooja room and rooms for children. Farah Khan is said to pay Dilip a high salary, but that’s not all! The film director has also enrolled Dilip’s kids into English-medium schools. Farah even sponsored a culinary course for one of Dilip’s children, who is training to become a chef.
