On August 19, Kim Seon-ho’s agency, Fantagio, announced strong steps to stop deepfake crimes against the actor. They posted a notice on social media and stated that fake videos and people pretending to be Kim Seon-ho have been appearing online. These tricks often fool people into sending money, which hurts the actor’s good name.

Fantagio said they take this problem very seriously and believe using deepfake technology to spread lies is against the law. They promised to watch closely and take tough action against anyone making or sharing this content.

The agency also warned fans to be careful. They said fans could get tricked too if they don’t watch out for what they see or believe online.
