BTS has always shared a special bond with their fans, aka ARMYs. They often share various content and go live on Weverse whenever they can. But it was paused when the members began their military service. Even though fans got to enjoy prerecorded content, they dearly missed the live sessions and waited for them. So, when the members got discharged, their livestream on the platform made fans happy and how. However, a section of fans feels that the groupâs maknae, Jungkook, has changed due to his lack of social media activities.
Tiktok User Claims BTS Jungkookâs âParasocial Relationship With ARMYsâ Ended
In 2023, Jungkook was very active on Weverse and often hosted live sessions at anytime which lasted for long hours. During these lives, he would sing, chat with fans, and even fall asleep once. Fans got used to it and truly enjoyed it.
But, after he got discharged, the groupâs maknae maintained a low profile. Other than the livestream with Jimin after their discharge and a group live broadcast, he hasnât been active on social media.
Following which, a TikTok user wrote, âARMYâs parasocial relationship with Jungkook has ended.â Many fans agreed with the user, as they also noticed a change in his personality. However, many other users shared a different view. They mentioned that even before his enlistment, Jungkook was less active on social media.
One fan wrote, âIdc if Jungkook doesnât come live; tbh, heâs been through alot. Some people here donât even see him as a human. Just a doll for their weird fantasies, and that makes me so mad. I just hope wherever he is, heâs happy, healthy, healing and taking the rest he deserves. Ilysm, Jungkook.â
